The Importance of Facebook

Advertising as a Business

Definitely one of the most powerful digital marketing platforms with endless targeting capabilities

The world really is yours when you’re advertising on Facebook. With each person building their own personal profile full of interests, it’s easy for us to find the audience you’re looking for after we go over your goals or targeted audience. Think about it: every interaction, click, reaction and thing users do on Facebook is contributing to building the world’s largest interest-targeting database for advertisers. With such a large and targetable audience, it makes sense that the Facebook advertising SHOULD be the main location for leads.

Facebook Ads are likely the best platform for when your goals are to generate leads and increase brand awareness. In the world of small-medium businesses, leads can generally be considered as a person engaging with your business, whether it be through a phone call, email or even an in-store visit. With Facebook’s hyper-targeting ability, you can ensure that the ads we are creating for you gets delivered to people who are the most likely to convert. BAM! Sounds simple right? Everyone thinks they can do it but ends up wasting money in the long run. Stop thinking you can just select a few things and now your ad works. WRONG, there is a science to it and you must be skilled and trained to be effective.

Google Adwords: It’s Kind of a BIG deal

This is the best advertising tool for immediate results with the ability to use keywords as competitors unlike SEO.

When it comes to immediate sales, the world of Google Adwords is the place to be.

Here’s the kind of money-making magic I’m talking about: Imagine a vending machine where, when you input a $1 bill and pull a lever—like magic—two $1 bills are spit out for your spending or investing pleasure.

Welcome to the world of Google Adwords and only two years ago approximately 85% of Google’s revenue banked in $64 billion.

Be it resolved that being found on Google is good for local businesses. Who knew? Google Adwords is one of the most mature platforms for online paid advertising, and it’s not too late to be competitive in the field if you know how to play the game. When consumers search on Google, the top results are all ads—the opportunity is extensive.

Google Adwords may be too expensive and competitive if you’re trying to target the keyword “insurance,” which is currently running advertisers about $55 per click, but what about a more specific key phrase like “best insurance agent in Dayton”? Suddenly, the cost per click (or other action) is $3.50. It’s definitely not too late, but you have to play hyper local in the space, unless you’ve got lots of $$$ to burn.

CASE STUDIES

Here you will see two examples of past clients who use an adspend with their campaign of $350 and how it got a high return on inverstment

Let’s focus on past client who is a insurance agent in Miami, Florida.

The Plan

Spend $350/month on Adwords for three months.

The Strategy

After talking to the business manager, we find out that the easiest way for them to turn leads intosales is if customers call them, so we set up a campaign that drives calls from local residents on their smartphones using an Adwords Call-Only campaign.

The Results

After the first month, we’ve been able to drive 100 phone calls to the insurance business for $3.50 a piece by using long tail local keywords, enticing ad copy and taking advantage of advanced programmatic bidding.

The business manager was diligent about asking callers where they were calling from, and it turns out that five of the calls from Adwords turned into sales of the agency’s main package, which goes for $2,000. Total revenue for the insurance agency was $10,000, resulting from a $350 ad spend. That’s a 2,857% return on ad spend. If that doesn’t sound like a smart move idk what is.

So how can you achieve this kind of success for your clients with Google Adwords? Send me an email

This is for Facebook Ads that will focus on a local plumbing business.

The Plan

Spend $350/month on Adwords for three months.

The Strategy

After talking to the business manager, we find out that the easiest way for them to turn leads into sales is if customers call them, so we set up a campaign that drives calls from local customers on their smartphones using a Facebook Local Awareness Campaign with Phone Calls Marketing Objective. The ad copy offers a tangible bait for viewers—a voucher for $20 off any service offered by the plumbing company. Scarcity is introduced by mentioning that only 30 vouchers are available. The copy is phrased casually, conversationally and honestly in the voice of the plumber who is trying something new to promote their local company. The ad creative is a video featuring the plumber giving a quick greeting and introduction as well as mentioning the voucher.

The Results

After the first month, we’ve been able to drive 100 phone calls to the insurance business for $3.50 a piece by using a reasonable quality video featuring the friendly plumber, which matches the tone of a social network and promotes engagement and conversion. Conversion cost will be kept low by the fact that the ad is a video (Facebook prioritizes video and users prefer it as well), congruency between ad creative and copy + good engagement resulting in a high relevancy score, a compelling offer, and laser targeting of the plumbing company’s ideal customers in the area.

Calls are 100% trackable because they are coming directly from users on their smartphones, and it turns out that ten of the calls from Facebook turned into significant plumbing and furnace repair jobs, which averaged for $500. Total revenue for the plumbing company was $5,000, resulting from a $350 ad spend. That’s a 1,429% return on ad spend.

Not bad right? So now the question is how can you achieve this kind of success with Facebook Ads? Check out our Social Media page and we  have TWO campaigns that will help you take your social media platforms to a place your competitors are not in to give you the upper hand.

  1. What is PPC?
  • Pay Per Click (or SEM – Search Engine Marketing in Google’s parlance) is a type of advertising strategy that directs traffic to your website from an ad that you paid a search engine or host website to post. It is basically the amount of money spent to get your advertisement from a search engine or website that you don’t own to be clicked.
  • Types of PPC campaigns are:
    – Search Adwords Campaign
    – Remarketing on the Google Display Network
  1. Who should use this package?
  • Small Business who want to improve their online presence on Google and show their products to those people who are looking for them.
  1. What does it do for my business?
  • It improves your online presence on Google search and increases the chance of targeting the right customers at the right time.
  1. Does it put my ad on the top page of Google every time?
  • No, and in most cases, you wouldn’t want it to be. The Google AdWords system does not just take into account the bid price when arranging the sponsored ads. The position of any ad takes into account over one hundred different factors including your quality score, volume of clicks, and website & content relevancy, enabling Google to deliver the right results to end users and empowering smaller advertisers to compete with other advertisers who have much higher budgets. If any company or agency was to offer you top spot or guaranteed positions our advice is to run because it’s simply not possible!
  1. Will it ensure sales and leads to our business?
  • No. Just like any type of advertising, Google AdWords can never guarantee any sure sales or customers. Once your ads are posted on Google Search we can no longer control the decision of your potential customers. The most that we can do is target the right people at the right time. And the rest is upon their discretion.
  1. Do I need to have an existing Google AdWords account to avail of the service?
  • No. We can set up your client’s Google AdWords account and then link it to our AdWords manager account.
  1. I already have an existing Google AdWords account. Do I still need to pay for the setup fee?=
  • It depends. If you have PPC campaigns that are already running and only minimal changes need to be made, the setup fee is waived. If you have an account but the campaigns still need to be setup or there are a lot of settings that need to changed, then you will need to pay for the setup fee. Please contact our Project Manager for a FREE PPC Proposal and Landing Page Analysis.
  1. Are landing pages always recommended, or can I just use my homepage?
  • ·         A great landing page is critical for any PPC campaign to be effective. People clicking on your PPC ads are more likely to have a strong purchase intent compared to general browsers, that’s why the landing page needs to be optimized to meet their expectations. We offer free landing page analysis along with our proposal, and landing page optimization & setup for an extra fee.
  1. Do I have access to the PPC Campaign that you are going to create?
  • Yes. We offer transparency compared to other agencies to assure that you are getting the right data and you can see the performance of the campaign anytime you want.
  1. Why do I need PPC when I have SEO?
  • Any SEO campaign done in a safe, organic way will take some time to rank. A business could utilize PPC to advertise on the search page for the same keywords while the SEO campaign is still gaining momentum.
  • PPC is also useful if you want to maximize the search page. There are different businesses located on the search page. To fully maximize it, use PPC.
  • Finally, while it is impossible to rank for a competitor’s brand organically, this is common practice in an AdWords campaign.
  1. Can I do PPC without SEO?
  • Yes, as PPC is not SEO dependent. It does not rely on Google search algorithms. It’s an advertising campaign that takes advantage of Google’s nature as a search engine.
  • Unlike SEO, PPC will never generate free traffic because Google is ranking you based on your ad spend and not the quality of your site.  SEO is an investment in the quality of your site and not just an investment in gaining organic rankings.
  1. Can I target my competitor’s keywords?
  • Yes. With PPC, you can target the competitor’s keywords. Unlike with SEO, you’re limited to the keywords on your website. Targeting your competitor’s keywords is ideal for new businesses because you want to target people who are looking for the same business as yours or have the same type of service.
